As a follow-up to Ben’s 2011 world record expedition, the Aussie 8, the Global Adventurer’s team of Ben, Pat and Luke, ‘crossed the ditch’ to New Zealand for a longer, tougher trail running challenge.
Completing all nine of the Department of Conservation’s Great Walks back-to-back had never been attempted before, and understandably. Each walk can take between 3 and 5 days to complete under normal circumstances, so taking on some of the toughest, most testing tracks in the country with little or no rest would seem like a recipe for disaster to most. Not the Global Adventurers.
